Chief Executive Officer

With over 10 years’ experience across six organisations of varying sectors, Mel has developed a skill for challenging the status quo and identifying novel ways of solving bidding problems. A member for a significant proportion of these years, APMP has been a handrail as Mel’s career has developed, including speaking at a number of APMP UK events and international webinars. Certified to APMP Practitioner level, Mel is currently a Senior Capture Manager at QinetiQ with a focus on developing the strategy for large and complex deals.  

Mel joined the Board in 2022 as Chief Events Officer and saw the re-introduction of the Roadshows, organised the 2022 Annual Conference and 2023 The Big One and developed events tags to better identify the relevance of an event to the individual member.

Mel is the 2024 CEO for the Chapter and is looking forward to driving the strategy, continue to support our members and provide opportunities for thought leadership.
