After a 16-year career as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force I founded Ad Astra (UK) Ltd as an incubator for fulfil my entrepreneurial business ambitions. Aviation has been involved throughout, including operating a private jet company and in 2019 I achieved a long-held ambition of gaining my helicopter pilot's licence.
The BiD Masters division of Ad Astra was launched in 2005. Due to the increasing interest in the support we provided to our clients, we decided we needed a brand name that said what we do.
In 2019, I was appointed to the Board of the UK Chapter of APMP as the Professional Development Director. One of my first tasks was to introduce the Career Mentoring Programme, to which I added the handle Rapport.
Now reaching the latter stages of my career, I am in a position to help others to find their own way through their career and to become the best they can be. Becoming a mentor was the obvious route to achieve this.
