Mentor

Like a lot of people I ‘fell’ into bidding after I left university and have been doing it ever since. I have worked for Facilities Management, Care, Energy and Consultancy organisations of various shapes and sizes helping them win public and private sector business. Through working at different organisations, in different teams, attending networking events and of course, APMP webinars, I keep learning new ways of working and sharing best practice.

One of the reasons I applied to be a mentor was to support the solo bidder, something I have experience of. It is important to know that most of us experience the same highs and lows – you are not alone!

I am a keen believer in getting up from your desk, having a stretch or going for a lunchtime walk. Let this be your reminder. Things always seem better after a screen break.
