Mentor

I’ve worked in the commercial sector for nearly 23 years. From the outset, bidding has played a role in my career as I worked alongside experienced colleagues to secure the next project for our team. My bidding career continued in this manner for a number of years, initially supporting and then leading bids to win work that I and others would then deliver. In 2010, I transitioned into bid management full-time. I worked initially in a sector specific bid team and later in the central strategic bid team supporting the delivery of our company’s largest and most complex bids. In 2021, I took up my current role of Sales Commercial Manager, making a transition from proposal management to focus on a new perspective of bidding.

I’ve been blessed in my career to be encouraged and surrounded by people encouraging and supporting me to take that next step in my journey.  I’d like to extend that hand and listening ear as a career mentor to support others to interrogate their plans and take the next step that works for them.
