Mentor

“I am Head of Bid Management for an innovation and technology company, working in the world of R&D to accelerate growth within the UK satellite industry.  People always look amazed when I say I work with satellites, and I must admit it is pretty cool.  Prior to this I worked for a telecommunications management company, as Training and Development Manager – where my love for supporting people to be the best version of themselves started.

I live in Oxfordshire with my husband and 2 children, experiencing the world of homeschooling with a newborn was fun. I play netball for a local team, which brings out my competitive side and I enjoy thinking I can run. 

I fell into the world of bidding, thanks to a another APMP member that gave me FOMO about the world of bids, and this is where I have stayed for 5 years.  I was excited to be accepted into the mentoring programme, as I love seeing people develop and achieve their goals. I also know how much it will give back to me too.
